Price Busters Live Posting is a private web application used by authorized live-sale staff to send auction-item information and saved Quick Messages to connected Facebook and YouTube live chats. The application is developed and provided by Town Geek.
The application uses existing Price Busters staff account information to authenticate authorized users. When a user connects Facebook, the application may receive the user's public profile identifier; the names and identifiers of Pages the user manages; the selected Page's access token and granted permissions; business-asset information required to identify an authorized Page; Page posts, videos, live-video details, comments, ratings, and other user-generated Page content required by the approved permissions.
When a user connects YouTube, the application may receive the connected channel's name and identifier, an authorization token, active broadcast details, and live-chat information required to post messages.
Platform information is used only to authenticate the connection, show Pages or channels available to the authorized user, remember the selected Page or channel, locate an active live broadcast, read information needed to identify its live chat or comment target, and publish auction-item or Quick Message text selected by authorized staff.
Price Busters Live Posting does not sell personal information, create advertising profiles, access personal timelines, or use Platform Data for unrelated advertising or marketing.
Depending on the connected account and Page, the application uses Facebook permissions including public_profile, pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement, pages_read_user_content, pages_manage_engagement, and business_management. These permissions are used only for the functions described in this policy.
Connection tokens, selected Page or channel information, Quick Messages, and posting history are stored on the protected Price Busters server. Tokens are not displayed publicly. Data is shared with Meta or Google only as necessary to perform actions requested by authorized users. Hosting and infrastructure service providers may process data only as required to operate and secure the service.
Connection information is retained while the integration remains connected or as needed to operate the service. Authorized staff can remove locally stored Facebook connection information by opening application Settings and selecting Disconnect Facebook. Users may also remove the integration through Facebook's Business Integrations settings.
